Launch Monitor Subscription Costs Compared (2026)

Launch monitor subscription costs for 2026: Garmin, Rapsodo, SkyTrak, Bushnell and FlightScope plans plus GSPro, E6 and Awesome Golf, with 3-year totals.

Launch monitor subscription costs can add more to a home simulator than the difference between two launch monitors. Many units sell at an attractive price, then gate simulator course play, advanced data or third-party software behind an annual plan.

This guide lists the subscription prices that manufacturers and retailers publish, checked October 9, 2026, and adds them up over three years. Prices change often, especially around Black Friday (how we research).

We compare these three in detail in GSPro vs E6 Connect vs Awesome Golf.

Three-year subscription totals

Plan costs only, taxes excluded, assuming prices stay the same:

SetupYear 13 years
Garmin R10 + Garmin Golf membership$100$300
Garmin R10 + GSPro (no Garmin membership)$250$750
Rapsodo MLM2PRO + Premium (annual)$199.99$599.97
Rapsodo MLM2PRO + Premium lifetime$599.99$599.99
Rapsodo MLM2PRO + Premium (annual) + GSPro$449.99$1,349.97
SkyTrak + Essential$99.99$299.97
SkyTrak + Core: Foresight$299.99$899.97
Bushnell Launch Pro + Gold + GSPro$749$2,247
FlightScope Mevo Gen2 + E6 Connect Basic$300$900
FlightScope Mevo Gen2 + GSPro$250$750

The lesson: over three years, the subscription can swing total cost by $2,000 or more between setups. Compare total cost, not sticker price.

How to keep subscription costs down

  1. Decide where you’ll play before you buy. If you want GSPro, check whether your launch monitor needs a brand plan as well; GSPro lists those prerequisites.
  2. Use lifetime options where they exist. Rapsodo Premium ($599.99) and Awesome Golf ($349.99) both offer one-time pricing.
  3. Watch auto-renewals and trials. Rapsodo notes the card on file is charged automatically at the end of its 45-day trial unless you cancel.
  4. Look for bundled software. Seasonal promotions sometimes include a year of software, as SkyTrak’s did on October 9, 2026.
  5. Count the PC. GSPro needs a Windows PC with a capable GPU; Awesome Golf and E6 Connect can run on an iPad, which can avoid a PC purchase.

Bottom line

Price the subscription with the launch monitor. A FlightScope Mevo Gen2 or Garmin R10 with a single low-cost plan can cost hundreds less over three years than a cheaper-looking unit that needs both a brand membership and GSPro. FAQ

Which launch monitors need a subscription?

Most need one for some features. As of Oct 2026: Garmin R10/R50 course play needs a Garmin Golf membership ($100/yr per Rain or Shine Golf); Rapsodo MLM2PRO Premium is $199.99/yr or $599.99 lifetime; SkyTrak plans run $99.99 to $599.99/yr; Bushnell Launch Pro plans are $199 (Silver) or $499 (Gold) per year per Shop Indoor Golf. FlightScope says the Mevo Gen2 needs no subscription for core data.

Which launch monitor has no subscription?

FlightScope says the Mevo Gen2 doesn't require a subscription for core data, with an optional paid Pro Package. Most other units work for basic practice without a plan but lock course play or advanced data behind one.

Do I pay for GSPro on top of my launch monitor subscription?

Often yes. GSPro is $250/yr, and GSPro states that Rapsodo MLM2PRO users need Premium, Bushnell Launch Pro users need Gold, Foresight users need FSX 2020 or FSX Play, and Uneekor users need the Pro Package before GSPro will work.
