Golf Simulator Installation Checklist

Before delivery

• Room measured and confirmed with the room measuring checklist
• Launch monitor placement confirmed in the owner's manual for your exact model
• Projector throw distance worked out from your screen width and throw ratio
• Software chosen and any required plan noted (e.g. GSPro needs Rapsodo Premium or Bushnell Gold)
• PC, tablet or phone meets the software's published system requirements
• Clear path for enclosure boxes; helper booked for frame assembly

Enclosure, screen and mat

• Frame assembled square and level, per the kit instructions
• Impact screen tensioned with the maker's fasteners; gap left between screen and wall
• Side and top netting or padding fitted for mishits
• Mat placed so the ball sits where the launch monitor manual specifies
• Golfer's swing zone clear of walls, lights and ceiling for every user

Launch monitor and projector

• Unit placed at the maker distance (Garmin R10: 6–8 ft behind the ball; Mevo Gen2: 8 ft unit to tee) or beside the ball as specified
• Exact unit-to-tee distance entered in the app where required (Garmin R10 manual)
• Markers or approved balls ready where the maker requires them (Mevo Gen2: aluminum stickers or Titleist RCT for indoor spin)
• Radar kept away from fans, fluorescent lights and HVAC (FlightScope guidance)
• Projector mounted at the calculated distance, image squared to the screen, keystone minimized
• Cables secured and routed away from the hitting area

First session

• Firmware and apps updated
• Slow wedge shots first, then full swings once readings are consistent
• Check every user's driver swing clearance one more time
• Save receipts and warranty dates; note plan renewal dates
